Ali Velazquez

Originally from Veracruz Mexico, Ali is currently earning a master’s degree in Public Relations and Corporate Communications at Georgetown University. Prior to HCN, he spent four months working for Dialogue Social Enterprise, in Hamburg Germany, as a Communications Associate for the DSE’s international team. With a BA in Public Relations from Brigham Young University, he also collaborated with Proyecto Latino de Utah, as a Public Relations Assistant, where he contributed to projects aimed at advancing the interests of the Latino community. Additionally, he also worked as an Outreach Coordinator for Porter Novelli, Sacramento, where he was instrumental in gaining the support of the Hispanic community in the L.A. and Ventura Counties to raise awareness around environmental challenges in the area. Ali is interested in foreign languages, international travel and loves to play basketball.
