Trinity joins HCN with an academic background in the humanities and a social activist background in public health, women’s, and environmental issues. She earned her BA from Sarah Lawrence College, where she was active in student politics as well as with direct action groups in New York City. Trinity has long been interested in questions intercultural dialogue, multicultural pluralism and the links between personal and political change. As a teenager, she traveled to India for nine months to learn about lesbian and feminist social justice organizing in urban cities. After graduating college, she spent a year in Bogota, Colombia on a Fulbright Fellowship to study women making movies. She recently spent six years in the Middle East, raising her daughter and cultivating peace within. She has an MA in Comparative Literature from UC Berkeley and is currently pursuing a degree in Art Therapy from Southwestern College. Trinity enjoys Celtic music and dance, gardening, and using her bike as primary transportation.
