There is one main lesson that Gonzalo Bernal has learned throughout his 23 years of experience in the media industry: As a writer and producer, you must respect your audience. Born and raised in Venezuela, Gonzalo has been able to build a successful career in the United States just as he did in his own country; Gonzalo’s production background includes work with: HBO Plus, Sony Entertainment & Television, Imagina US and Univision Studios. Now, as the Production & Creative Services Director at HCN, Gonzalo has found a meaningful goal to strive for in his professional career: being part of a team that is trying to make a positive difference for the Hispanic community in the US. In his spare time, Gonzalo is a musician and part of a fusion music band called La Unica which mixes Celtic, Latin and Rock in a unique blend of textures and rhythms that have proved very successful in the DC Area; he is also passionate about history, politics and sports.
