Victor grew up in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico and attended University of Texas at El Paso. He earned a BA in Communication with a concentration in Electronic Media, and began his career as a volunteer for the local NPR affiliate, KTEP. It was there that he realized that he wanted to make a career connecting people with information that positively impacted their lives, and that radio would be his medium. Victor’s contribution to the mission of HCN is enriched by his own personal experience as a migrant worker. (As a student, Victor worked in the construction and roofing industries in the city of Chicago as a way to finance his education). In his free time, Victors enjoys a good game of tennis, following the news, and being amazed at the evolution of technology and society.
