Molly Matthews Multedo
Executive Vice President
Molly Matthews Multedo develops HCN’s strategic partnerships, projects, and funding. She held an executive position at Hispanic Communications Network from 1992 to 1998, developing award-winning projects in women’s reproductive health. Molly holds master’s degrees in international affairs and journalism, both from Columbia University. Molly currently splits her time between New York City and Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, where she leads the Columbia University Alumni Club of Rio de Janeiro and has volunteered at the Columbia Global Center | Rio de Janeiro and for Mar Adentro, a nonprofit focusing on coastal waters conservation and education. She also serves on Columbia’s Alumni Representative Committee and on the leadership council for Women Creating Change, in addition to the Barnard Parents Council and SIPA’s Alumni Ambassador committee.
Previously, Molly co-founded an independent college preparatory school for mathematics and sciences in the United States, in which she managed admissions, outreach, finance, and development. She has also worked in the US Senate, network television syndication, feature film production, as a free-lance journalist and as an independent college admissions counselor. Molly enjoys open water swimming, biking, photography, and hiking.
